Our Projects

De Montfort
University

The De Montfort University in Leicester is committed to ensuring the safety of its students, faculty, and staff. As part of this commitment, the university enlisted our services to conduct compartmentation surveys of the Clephan Building and Gateway House. The purpose of these surveys was to identify potential fire compartmentation breaches and to provide recommendations for remedial works. Our team of experts conducted a thorough survey, using state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to identify any areas of concern.

Following the surveys, we were commissioned to carry out firestopping works to service penetrations through walls and floors, as well as fire door maintenance. We also supplied and fitted new FD30 and FD60 fire doors throughout the buildings to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations. Our team worked closely with the university’s staff to ensure minimal disruption to the day-to-day activities of the campus.

Throughout the two-year project, we maintained open lines of communication with the university’s management team to ensure that all works were completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standard. Thanks to our expertise and attention to detail, the De Montfort University can now provide its students, faculty, and staff with a safe and secure learning and working environment.
