Hilton Hotel,
London Olympia
Gunfire was contracted by Hilton Hotels to upgrade the fire protection status of the Hilton London Olympia. The project lasted for two months and involved the installation of passive fire protection systems to communal corridors, risers, and bin stores. The works were aimed at improving the fire safety of the building, ensuring that it met the necessary safety standards.
The scope of works included cladding to ductwork with intumescent coated batt to prevent the passage of smoke or flame around the damper. Additionally, fire stopping elements were installed, including intumescent coated batt, mastic, and intumescent wraps to holes from corridors to bedrooms, ceiling voids, and riser cupboards.
The success of the project demonstrates Hilton Hotels’ commitment to ensuring the safety of their guests and staff. By upgrading the fire protection status of the Hilton London Olympia, they have improved the safety and security of the building, reducing the risk of fire-related incidents.
