Our Projects

Brewster House &
Malting House

Gunfire was contracted by Mears Group to undertake fire stopping works on Brewster House and Malting House following a Fire Risk Assessment (FRA). Our scope of work included maintenance of communal fire doors, removal of wooden service enclosures, and fire stopping to service penetrations in service risers.

Our scope of work involved restoration and replacement of front entrance doors, and doors within communal areas, with fire-resisting doorsets to prevent the spread of fire. We also installed fire breaks and fire stopping within service risers to prevent fire from spreading through the buildings, as well as new fire-resisting doorsets to meter and riser cupboards.

Our team was dedicated to delivering high-quality work while ensuring that we caused minimal disruption to the residents’ daily lives. We worked closely with the property managers and residents to ensure that we carried out the works within the agreed time frame and budget. Through our efforts, we were able to help Breyer Group meet their fire safety obligations, ensuring the safety and peace of mind of the residents.
