ASFP Academy Session
Last week Stephanie Harris FSIDip and Peter Thompson TIFireE headed to Coventry for the latest Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP) Academy session — Legally Responsible Designer Performance vs Contractor Design Portions — and left with valuable insights to bring back to the team.
Led by Paul McSoley CEng MCIBSE AIFireE MSoPHE FIHEEM and Daniel Harwood, the session dived deep into:
– The role of legally responsible Duty Holders
– The value of performance specifications in design
– The all-important fire line of design transfer
– And the exclusive PaD insurance facility for the fire industry
