Fire doors save lives— but only when they’re installed correctly.

At Gunfire, we commonly see the following issues:
– Incorrect Gaps between Door leaf and frame
– Missing or damaged Intumescent seals
– Incorrect hinges and door closers
– Incorrect fixings
– Doors wedged open

Ensuring fire doors are compliant takes specialist knowledge, the right materials, and attention to detail — it’s more than just ticking boxes.

But correct installation is only part of the story. Fire doors need regular checks to stay fit for purpose.

The Building Safety Act (January 2022) now makes it a legal requirement in the UK for:
– Fire doors in commercial buildings to be inspected every 6 months.
– Flat entrance fire doors to be inspected annually on multiple occupancy buildings over 11m and the communal doors to be inspected quarterly.

Every building is different, but that’s where we can help. If you want to speak to one of our specialists then please get in contact https://lnkd.in/eBGVfb2T
